UPCOMING EVENTS FOR MEMBERS

Tugboat Institute Summit 2020

June 23 - 25, 2020 Sun Valley, Idaho

Tugboat Institute Summit is an intimate, invitation-only gathering of Evergreen CEOs. This unique event brings together leading entrepreneurs who have the grit and resourcefulness to build and scale private, profitable, enduring and market-leading businesses that make a dent in the universe.

Tugboat Institute @EdwardJones

October 20 - 22, 2020 St. Louis, Missouri

In October 2020, we will travel to St. Louis for our Tugboat Institute Exemplar Visit at Edward Jones headquarters. Hosted by the sixth managing partner in the 97-year history of Edward Jones and Tugboat Institute member Penny Pennington, this event will share insights on leading an enduring, growing Evergreen business that is owned by its partners. Over the course of two days, we will take an unvarnished look at the history of Edward Jones. We'll learn about how it evolved from a small band of financial advisors serving rural clients into a firm of over 55,000 employees, its unique relationship with Peter Drucker, how its approach to People First makes it one of the Top 10 Best Places to Work year-after-year, and gain deep insights into the key milestones, successes, and failures it experienced in its Evergreen journey. We will also enjoy exceptional food and drink together while exploring a few of Penny’s favorite areas around St. Louis each evening

Evergreen Companies are the most important companies in our society today, and are redefining success.
